Labradors
At Cleestangate Gundogs we aim to produce dual purpose Labrador Retrievers for the field and family life.
All of our Dogs are registered with the Kennel Club and are extensively health tested through the British Veterinary Association health schemes and DNA tested for hereditary conditions. Their pedigrees include multiple Field Trial Champions producing Labradors with outstanding temperaments and trainability. Cleestangate's Miss Marvel
Marv is a homebred girl, her mum being Mya and her sire Field Trial Champion Ffynongain Buzzard of Wauniago. Marv is a very nice picking up bitch, very easy going and is more than happy to stand on a peg as she is a very calm steady dog. She is bold in cover and a keen swimmer, regularly taking on retrieves over fast flowing rivers. She has outstanding drive for working but switches off and relaxes for cuddles by the fire. She is also a fantastic model, often featuring in many commercial doggy photo shoots.

Cleestangates Liberty
Libby is our very special homebred bitch, her sire is Ft Ch Ffynongain Buzzard of Wauniago. Libby is an extremly easy going dog, calm to be around and has a brilliant off switch. Libby has been a joy to train, she is very attentive, she is proving to be an intelligent and kind natured girl.

Astraglen Vanna of Cleestangate
Kizzy is a stylish black beauty with a lovely Pedigree out of the fantastic Field Trial Champion Kelmarsky Crow. She has been a joy to train and she is so sharp you can handle her on any terrain. Kizzy is a skilled member of the team, steady on a peg and an obedient picking dog. Kizzy has immense drive when working but like all of our girls, is calm and enjoyable to be around.

Deunant Mali at Cleestangate
Tally is a lovely dark red bitch who has bags of style on the shooting field. Tally has a biddable, kind nature and is very willing to please. She is an extremely affectionate dog and is a pleasure to have around. She has been easy to train and loves her work.
We are delighted to have her on the picking up team.
