Labradors
At Cleestangate Gundogs we aim to produce dual purpose Labrador Retrievers for the field and family life.
All of our Dogs are registered with the Kennel Club and are extensively health tested through the British Veterinary Association health schemes and DNA tested for hereditary conditions. Their pedigrees include multiple Field Trial Champions producing Labradors with outstanding temperaments and trainability. Burghope Delphine at Cleestangate
Nala is a true picking up bitch with the most natural ability we have witnessed. If she sees a running bird on shoot day then it's guaranteed to be coming back with her. She is very bold in cover and a keen swimmer, regularly taking on retrieves over fast flowing rivers. She has outstanding drive for working but switches off and relaxes for cuddles by the fire.

Cleestangates Liberty
Libby is our young homebred bitch. Her Dam is Nala and her sire is Mike Jones Wauniago Gundogs Open Field Trial winner Ffynongain's Buzzard. Buzz came fourth in the 2019 IGL Retriever Championships. Libby is still only a young bitch but we have high hopes for her in the future, she is proving to be an intelligent and kind natured girl.

Cowarnecourt Imogen at Cleestangate
Mya is a stylish dark yellow bitch with a lovely Pedigree out of Open Field Trial Winner Quarnford Grouse of Rufriver. She has been a joy to train and she is so sharp you can handle her on any terrane. Mya is a skilled member of the team, steady on a peg and an obedient picking dog. Mya is a great fun girl to have around and is fully integrated into family life.

Deunant Mali at Cleestangate
Tally is a lovely dark red bitch, with a very nice back pedigree. She is showing bags of style and great potential on the shooting field. Tally has a biddable kind nature and is very willing to please. She is an extremely affectionate dog and is a pleasure to have around. We are delighted to have her on the team.
