The Team at Cleestangate Gundogs

Husband and wife team Matthew and Kate Brown have been involved in the breeding of quality gundogs for many years.  Based in the beautiful countryside of Ludlow, Shropshire they are committed to producing high quality gundogs for working and active pet homes.

Matthew was brought up on a farm where his passion for Labradors began.  His father had a team of black Labradors for picking up and enjoyed many days out learning the ropes.  Upon leaving school and training as a gamekeeper Matt’s passion for training gundogs really took hold.  His first trialing Spaniel was Gala Girl "Molly", a black cocker bitch of whom started his breeding line.

Kate adores training the youngsters and producing pet trained companion dogs.
